Privacy Policy.
Effective date: October 6, 2026
This policy explains how Martiel Studio (“we,” “our,” or “us”) handles personal data when you visit martiel.studio, contact us, or book a call. Martiel Studio, operating from Serbia, is the data controller for the processing described here.
Privacy contact: hello@martiel.studio
1. Data we collect
- Inquiry data: your name, email address, selected project interests, project description, and any other information you choose to send us.
- Scheduling data: information you provide when booking a call through Cal.com, such as your name, email address, time zone, selected time, and booking answers.
- Technical data: standard hosting and security logs, which may include IP address, request time, browser, device, requested URL, and error information.
- Performance data: page and device context and Core Web Vitals measurements collected through Vercel Speed Insights.
- Website analytics: aggregated page views, routes, referrers, approximate location, browser, operating system, and device type collected through Vercel Web Analytics.
When you submit the project brief form, the information is sent securely to us through our email delivery provider. We use it only to assess your inquiry and respond to you; it is not added to a marketing list.
2. Why we use personal data
- To respond to inquiries, assess project fit, prepare a proposal, and take steps requested before entering a contract.
- To provide services and communicate with clients under a contract.
- To operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website based on our legitimate interests in maintaining a reliable business website.
- To meet accounting, tax, and other legal obligations.
- Where processing depends on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.
3. Service providers and sharing
We do not sell personal data. We disclose only what is needed to providers that help us operate the studio, including:
- Vercel for website hosting, delivery, security, Web Analytics, and Speed Insights.
- Cal.com when you choose to book a call.
- Resend to deliver project inquiries to our email inbox.
- Cloudflare Turnstile to protect the inquiry form from spam and automated abuse when enabled.
- Professional advisers, collaborators, or authorities when necessary for a project, to protect legal rights, or to comply with law.
Cal.com processes booking data for us and also provides its own privacy information. Vercel's practices are described in its Web Analytics privacy documentation, and Cloudflare describes Turnstile processing in its privacy addendum.
4. International data transfers
Some providers may process data outside Serbia or your country of residence, including in the United States. Where required, transfers are supported by applicable adequacy decisions, contractual safeguards, or another lawful transfer mechanism. You may contact us for more information about relevant safeguards.
5. Retention
- Unsuccessful project inquiries are normally retained for up to 12 months after the last communication.
- Client communications and project records are retained for the duration of the relationship and afterward where needed for contractual, accounting, tax, or legal purposes.
- Hosting, security, performance, and booking records follow the retention schedules of the relevant providers.
We may retain limited information longer where required by law or necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
6. Analytics, cookies, and performance measurement
We do not configure advertising cookies or cross-site marketing trackers. Vercel Web Analytics records anonymous, aggregated page-view information without third-party cookies, while Vercel Speed Insights measures real-world website performance. We do not send inquiry contents, names, or email addresses to either service as analytics events.
Vercel creates a request-based visitor hash for Web Analytics and discards the visitor session after 24 hours. Analytics results are presented to us in aggregate rather than being associated with an identifiable visitor. If our analytics or cookie practices change, we will update this policy and request consent where required.
Third-party websites opened from our site, including Cal.com, apply their own cookie and privacy practices.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of your personal data; object to processing based on legitimate interests; and withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis. You may also lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority.
To exercise a right, email hello@martiel.studio. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
In Serbia, you may contact the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection.
8. Security and data breaches
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. If a personal-data breach occurs, we will assess it and notify the competent authority within the legally required period where notification is required. We will notify affected individuals without undue delay where the breach is likely to result in a high risk to their rights and freedoms.
9. Children
Our website and professional services are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly request personal data from children through this website.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to hello@martiel.studio.
